About me
I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist and work both in the private sector and the NHS. I graduated from psychology in 1999 and earned a doctorate degree in Counselling Psychology in 2007 from London Metropolitan University. I have since worked in both primary and secondary care in the NHS.
My main clinical practice is integrative and it draws from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and Schema-focused therapy (ST). I have experience in working with various mental health presentations and degrees of severity. Over the last 15 years I have specialized in the area of psychodermatology. I am the Lead Psychologist in a specialist psychology service dedicated to dermatology patients at the Royal Free Hospital NHS Trust.
My research interests lie in the psychological management and wellbeing of people with psoriasis, acne, alopecia, body image concerns and adjustment to physical change. I supervise doctoral theses in psychodermatology and clinical psychology.
I also work as a clinical supervisor (CBT and schema therapy).
I am a fully accredited and certified Schema therapist through the International Society of Schema Therapy (ISST)[https://schematherapysociety.org/Find-a-Therapist].
I am a chartered psychologist with the

Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychology (BABCP).
